Did you know Brother Daniel D. Tompkins, first Sovereign Grand Commander of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction (1813 until 1825) served as Vice President under President James Monroe? He was also the fourth governor of New York from 1807 to 1817.
Most Worshipful and Illustrious brother David S. Collins, 33°, MSA, (Valley of Lancaster-Littleton), and newly installed as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire F&AM, was awarded The Daniel D. Tompkins Medal on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Council of Deliberation meeting at the Nashua Masonic Temple. This Medal is conferred upon a deserving Masonic or Scottish Rite Brother who has rendered outstanding distinguished and exemplary service to his country or the Masonic fraternity. Most Worshipful and Illustrious brother Collins is the first recipient of this award in New Hampshire. Congratulations Brother David!
