For almost seventy years, the Grand Lodge of Vermont has been awarding the Philip C. Tucker Medal and Citation to Master Masons in the United States and Canada for outstanding achievements and service in any branch of Freemasonry.
First awarded to Brothers Carl H. Claudy and Aaron Hinman Grout in 1955, the Philip C. Tucker award has been presented to other notable Freemasons such as Brother Harold Van Buren Voorhis and our own Past Grand Master, MW Brother Richard Fletcher. The most recent recipients of this distinction are two Most Worshipful Past Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire, Brothers John E. Lobdell, 33° (Valley of Portsmouth-Dover) and Kenneth A. Clay Jr., 33° (Valley of Concord) who were presented with this award at the Grand Lodge of Vermont Annual Communication in 2022. |
