Brother Charles Foster Bass (b1952) served as US House of Representatives for NH’s 2nd Congressional District from 1995 to 2007 and 2011 to 2013.
His father Perkins Bass (1912-2011) held the same position from 1955 to 1963. Charles’ grandfather, Robert, served as Republican Governor of New Hampshire from 1911-1912. Charles attended Holderness School in Holderness, NH and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1974.
